Salve dear friends. I would like to present to you a very fun tool I created for generating random fantasy Roman names using the tria nomina structure. Let me know in the comments what you think!
It uses a seed list of 300 male and female names. The algorithm parses the first letter of your first and last name and uses your gender to search the available list, and finally randomly selecting one matching result from the criteria.
Tria Nomina
Some of you might be unfamiliar with the “tria nomina” system of ancient Rome.

You had a personal name, praenomen.
A family name, nomen
and a family subspecific or house name, cognomen.
It’s why most Europeans have similar patterns, and why middle names are often traditional. pic.twitter.com/ZP9wmCbIJF
